Planning an event usually comes with plenty of questions. Here are answers to the ones we hear most often.
What kind of events is Beseda suited to?
Beseda is ideal for family celebrations, company get-togethers, workshops, team-building and intimate weddings. The building is always let as a whole, so you can shape the event exactly as you like.
Will we have the building to ourselves?
Yes. For the whole of your stay, the building and garden are yours alone. Beseda is never let room by room or to more than one group at a time.
How many people can stay overnight?
Beseda sleeps up to 14 guests. There are three rooms with their own bathroom, one four-bed room with its own bathroom and shared sleeping in the attic.
Can we hold a one-day event without staying overnight?
Yes. One-day events for over 15 people have their own price list. If you are planning a different kind of event, get in touch and we'll find a solution together.
Can we bring our own catering?
Yes. If you would like to use your own caterer or another supplier, we are happy to go through the options with you beforehand.
Is there a kitchen we can use?
Yes. The building has a fitted kitchen with everyday crockery, glasses, pots and pans, cutlery and basic kitchen equipment.
Can we use the garden during the event?
Yes. You have the garden, the conservatory, outdoor seating, a barbecue and a fire pit.
Where can guests park?
Right by Beseda there is parking for about three cars. More parking is available within walking distance.
Is there accommodation nearby for extra guests?
If your event is bigger than Beseda can sleep, we are happy to recommend places to stay nearby.
Can we decorate the rooms ourselves?
Yes. If you are planning decorations of your own, just arrange it with us in advance. We only ask that you treat the historic building with care.
Is Beseda suitable for weddings?
Yes. Beseda suits more intimate weddings in particular, where you want the whole building to yourselves and to spend the time together in one place.
Can we arrive early to get things ready?
If bookings allow, we are happy to arrange it individually. Write to us in advance and we'll work out the best solution together.
Can we bring our own music?
Yes. We just ask you to be considerate of the neighbours and to respect quiet hours at night.
Are pets allowed?
No. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate animals.
