Jaroslav Foglar wrote "The Boys from Beaver River" in 1934. The story of a gang of boys who stopped worrying about the city and started living in nature. Each had a nickname, each had a character, each was different, and yet the individuals became a team. That book sent us into the woods, and so our places came to be.
Each place is named after one of the characters. Not just because it makes a nice name, but because each place matches who that character was. We build them with minimal impact on the landscape and with our own power from the sun, so that the quiet around you isn't empty but healing. No reception, no rush, just you and nature.

How does arrival and handover work?
A few days before your stay you'll get a code and instructions. No reception, you arrive whenever it suits you.
Do the places run off-grid?
Mostly yes. Power from the sun, water from nature. You'll find the exact facilities of each place on its own page.
Can we bring a dog?
Yes, dogs are welcome at all the places. A surcharge of 490 Kč per stay.
How do I pay?
Online by card via Comgate, by bank transfer or with benefit cards.
What is the minimum length of stay?
Usually two nights; for some dates and places it may differ.
What is the cancellation policy?
If you cancel more than 30 days before arrival, cancellation is free. Between 30 and 15 days ahead it is 50% of the price of the stay, and under 15 days it is 100%. You will find the details in our terms and conditions.
How do I get to you?
Each place is somewhere different: the Brdy hills, the Slavkov Forest, South Bohemia, Podkrkonoší. You'll get the exact location and arrival instructions with your booking confirmation.
What should I bring?
Mainly food and an appetite for calm. At off-grid places a torch and warm clothes come in handy; you'll find the exact facilities for each place on its page.
Can I pay for my stay through FKSP?
Yes, you can (FKSP is the Czech employee social fund). Contact us at info@bobrireka.cz with the necessary details.
