who was grizzly?

Plump, hospitable, loyal. Grizzly was the one in the gang around whom you ate well and sat well. Inventive by the fire, dependable in any situation. With him there was no rush, you cooked and sat outside for as long as you could.

The Grizzly cabin bears his name for good reason. It stands at the edge of the Slavkovský les, two separate bedrooms, each for a couple or a parent with a child. Outside a wood-fired hot tub, a stone hearth, a fire pit and a babbling brook alongside. No mobile signal.

Inside, a tiled stove with hotplates and an oven, a kitchen with a dining and living space all in one. On the upper deck, morning coffee with a view into the forest. A place where nobody hurries and nobody leaves any sooner than they have to.

How does arrival work?

You'll get an access code by e-mail. You arrive on your own, no reception.

Does the hot tub work?

Yes. It's wood-fired, and the wood is ready on site.

Can I bring a dog?

Yes. Medium breeds, a surcharge of 490 Kč per night.

Can the off-grid system handle everyday use?

Yes, there's a large battery capacity. Charging phones, lighting, the fridge, basic appliances. Just use it sparingly.

Is the cabin available in winter?

No. The cabin isn't insulated, so we don't rent it out in winter.

What's the cancellation policy?

Cancel more than 30 days before arrival and it's free. Between 30 and 15 days ahead it's 50 % of the stay, less than 15 days ahead 100 %. Details in the terms & conditions.

The cabin is wood-heated: a tiled stove with an oven inside, a wood-fired hot tub outside. No mobile signal and no Wi-Fi, take it as part of the experience. We don't rent the cabin out in winter.
